Set in Finland in 1918, Civil war and revolution are coming to the wild woodlands of Finland, a Duchy of Russia under the Tsar. This is a story of wild nature and idiotic man, of the animals and the people who live and understand the woodland and the lakes, also the changing of the seasons. It is a story of a young dog Roscar and a boy named Tomikin. They both grow up together living in the heart of a beautiful wild land, which they try to protect.

This story is a work of fiction… the characters are not based upon anyone living or dead, with one exception… Mother Earth. She gave us life… but not by design, the domination of the world, we did that ourselves… She will be our destruction… if we upset the balance of life, there is one certainty, she will still be here when we… are no longer. Our salvation will come… if we open our eyes to see her beauty, she is precious and should be cherished, together with all living things. For us… there is no other world.
I recently submitted this book to a publisher in Finland for their appraisal, and hope to hear back from them soon. My correspondence is shown below:
Dear Sirs, 24Th September 2020
Please find enclosed a copy of a “We all Dance to Natures Tune” a young adults book whose story is set in the natural beauty of Finland during the fight for freedom of 1918. I have always felt that if young people are introduced to the beauty of nature, they will value the world around them for all of their lives. It is the only chance we have for our own survival. The book tells the story of a boy and a dog, both being the principle characters growing up in an age of manmade destruction. It also defines the beauty of the natural world and of the threat from mankind. It is a coming of age story in a wild untamed landscape with a message to us all. I believe the children of Finland would enjoy and understand this story and with your help we could achieve that.

I have self-published the book in English on Amazon and it is available in the UK in paperback and Kindle format. Both of my grandfathers were William Henry’s and as all of my books are set in their time, I write under the name of William Henry Wood. I submit this book to you for your appraisal.
